These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Office Furniture Direct (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. Office Furniture Direct is a brand owned and operated by Unconventional Group Inc., based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. What We Sell
We sell used and refurbished office furniture — chairs, desks, tables and storage — sourced from closing and downsizing offices. Every piece is inspected, function-checked and cleaned before listing. Brand names are used to describe the make and model of pre-owned items and do not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those manufacturers.
2. Condition & "As-Is" Sale
Listings describe each item's condition honestly, including cosmetic wear. Because our inventory is pre-owned, items are sold as-is except where a specific warranty is stated in writing. Photos and specifications are provided in good faith; minor variation is normal for used goods. You are encouraged to ask questions or inspect an item before purchase.
3. Pricing, Orders & Reservations
Prices are in Canadian dollars and may change without notice. Placing an order or reservation is an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline (for example, if an item has already sold). We do not hold items without payment — the first buyer to complete payment secures the item.
4. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. For local pickup, payment may be arranged on collection. You confirm that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use it.
5. Delivery & Pickup
We offer local pickup in Edmonton and delivery across Canada. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery or pickup. Large or bulk items may require freight or white-glove delivery, quoted separately.
6. Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Office Furniture Direct and Unconventional Group Inc. disclaim all implied warranties on used goods beyond any written warranty provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of an item or the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in Alberta.
